The Examination is organized by the designated organizing Institute for Gate of the particular year out of 8 of these institutes.

Many people think that their University percentage might affect the GATE score. The GATE score will be based on the performances in the examination, and it replicates the academic ability. The GATE scores are valid up to three years. The results are declared after one month of the examinations. The qualified candidates are issued with the score cards.
