Chandigarh: GATE is a comprehensive exam and needs a thorough preparation to crack it. A checklist will help the candidates to be prepared to attend the examination. Before leaving the home for exam check out all these things. It is advisable that you maintain a box or pouch to keep all your belongings required for the exams safe. It will save you time from searching for it here and there at the last moment as well as keep the annoyance at the bay.
Preparing for GATE is not enough; you must also be ready to attend the Exam as well. Relax and do not worry about anything. Revising everything you learned is a must. Do not think much about your weak area and be strong in your good area. Do not attempt to learn new things at the last moment. Just be confident and strong with the already learned areas. Revise it well.
Follow the below checklist while appearing for the GATE exam:
- Hall ticket or Admit card. If you do not have it yet, check it online
- A black point pen for filling the data of the applicant in the designated boxes
- You would need an HB black pencil to fill the bubbles on the answer sheet.
- Carry an eraser as there might be times you wish to change the answer.
- Scientific calculator (Check out the scientific calculator used in GATE).
Make sure that you carry all these while leaving for the exam. Keep them in the place from where they are easily accessible. If you have children at your place, then keep the belongings away from their reach as you might spoil your mood while going for the exam if you do not find it. Before leaving the home verify that you have carried everything. Be confident and do not panic. Leave for your examination center a little before the test time to avoid being late. All the best for your exam.
