Why Start GATE Preparation In Well Advance?

Chandigarh: In case you score well in your GATE exam, you can have many options in your hand to choose. You either can go for higher education, or can go for job in public sector companies. Thus, try to start as early as possible, so that you can hit the Target very strongly.

Reasons Why You Should Begin Your GATE Exam Preparation Early:

1. GATE exam has a very wide syllabus for all the streams and is lengthy too. In fact, more syllabus is being introduced in this exam every year. Thus, you need ample amount of time to cover all the points and brush up your skills. You need at least 7 to 9 months to prepare well for your exam. To be frank, you should be completely prepared before two months of the gate exam. The reason is that, in the last two months there will be a lot of pressure on you especially if you are currently a 4th year student, the gate exam and the final project submission dates will be very close and you will be overburdened if you try to focus on both the aspects. So, in my opinion do not count the last two months before the Gate Exam and plan and prepare your studying schedule accordingly.
2. Gate exam will test your practical skills and your ability to use your conceptual knowledge to solve the practical problems. This thing needs a good amount of practice and for that, you need time.
3. By starting early, you will get ample time to test your skills by solving the sample papers and giving the mock tests. 
4. If you get good time for preparation, and then you will prepare well every topic. This will give you the confidence, which is must for giving this kind of big exam. 
5. Students may come under pressure if they get less amount of time for preparation. Pressure can influence your preparation. Thus starting early provides students time to prepare well in advance.
6. The more problems you will solve, clearer your concept will become and higher will be your chances to crack the GATE exam. Thus, it is wise to start early and try to look out at every corner.

This year the Gate exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has introduced 2 new papers.
