Chandigarh: When a candidate enters into the examination hall for the offline test or into the lab for the online test, he will be examined for any fraudulent activities. A candidate is allowed to carry only his identity proof which includes the hall ticket or any other photo identity of his own.
Carrying of regular and necessary items like the pen, pencil and calculators is allowed. However, the use of programmable calculators is strictly prohibited. Other prominent electronic gadgets like mobile phones and tablets are not allowed in the examination hall.
Candidates will be checked from owning any kind of electronic diaries. If found, he might be disqualified or serious action will be taken against him.
Blank papers for carrying out rough work will be handed over to the candidates in the examination hall. He does not have to carry any blank papers, along with him. Possession of all these items will be counted as fraud and strict action will be taken against him. Other items for calculation like the logarithmic tables and scientific calculators are strictly prohibited.
Clipboards will not be allowed within the examination hall. Provision for a thorough marking and doing rough work will be managed within the exam centers. When in need of some means of calculation or doubt, he can contact the authorized person in charge in the hall. If the candidate is found in possession of all the above mentioned items, he may be disqualified on the spot.
Furthermore, the item will be confiscated by the authority for future reference. A person will have to face serious consequences when found guilty. Make a checklist of all the items that have to be carried to save you from the last minute jitters.
