Chandigarh: The answer to the above question varies from individual to individual. Each person has to ask themselves a crucial question. What is their area of interests? What do they want to do ahead in their life? Do they see themselves in a management role? Are they interested in the IT sector? Are they looking for specialization as a career advancement method?
The answers to the above questions will help them decide on the same. To start with let us look at the MTech stream. Nowadays the pre-requisite to pursue this stream is G.A.T.E. A good score in the same will clear the path considerably. Students will be well prepared for the interview round. IIT branches will give priority to high scores in GATE. Focussing on the exam will be of immense help to the students.
If we look at the MS stream, there are numerous points to consider. To start with, you need to have a good scoring on the GRE test. The institute from where the student graduated in also taken into account. They would need to be recommended by professors who are at the top of their field. Their credentials when it comes to experience in research are also important. However, there is no standardized method when it comes to different universities. Students also have to look for scholarship avenues.
For an international MBA, you have to start by narrowing down the institute. Secondly, you have to score high on the GMAT exam. Studying MBA overseas or in your country is not cheap. Hence, you need to apply for a student loan in order to pursue the same. You also need a clear vision on what you want to do when you complete the MBA course.
As you can see there are a number of things to consider for studies after graduation. Examine each factor in detail before making the right choice.
