Once the M.Tech admissions to all the government colleges come to an end, the remaining students who did not get into the government colleges will have to opt for private engineering colleges.
Once the counseling of the government colleges comes to an end, it is only a matter of time before the beginning of new semester classes. In this article I will try to provide some details on how to get admission into the private engineering colleges.
Whenever it comes to private colleges, students have two options, they can try to get admission in the deemed universities and the private engineering colleges which should be approved by AICTE for running the M. Tech course. Deemed universities are UGC approved and are accepted by the AICTE institute for higher education.
The most common admission notices are released by Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. In all these states, the M.Tech admissions are monitored and maintained by their technical universities. The GATE qualified candidates are mostly preferred. However, if you want an admission in a private engineering institute all you need to do to apply for a sponsored candidate. You can follow some of the below steps.
The first thing that you need to do is to select a college location where you want or need to apply. Once you have decided to any particular college, or a list of colleges, all you have to do is go to the official sites of these private colleges and do proper research for example: what is the faculty experience, what are the previous year placement percentage etc.. Then you can get the phone numbers of the administration and make a call and ask for the admission procedure and fee details, take an appointment from each college from your list of colleges and visit them. Once you are fully satisfied, you can go ahead with the payment of the fee and confirm your seat. Make sure that you do not fall into the trap of the brokers who will convince and cheat you by making false statements about the colleges. Once the seat is confirmed, it is very had to get back the money so, be careful and make a proper decision for yourself.
