Few Notes on GATE 2015 Exam



GATE- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all India level entrance examination for higher studies in engineering. It is being conducted mainly by the IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) once in a year.

Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2015 Exam:


Before applying for GATE, check if you have an eligible under graduate degree. Do not worry if you have a backlog. You can still apply with your final year mark sheet and a certificate from your college principal. GATE Online Application Processing system from 2015 has made the application process very simple and fuss free.

Syllabus for the GATE Exam:


There will be a General Aptitude Test, which is mandatory for all. Other than this, there are two additional papers which are introduced from 2015 exams namely XL, which stands for the Life Sciences subjects and the XE, which stands for the Engineering Sciences.

Examination Tips, Which Will Help You to Get Through the GATE Exam Easily:


While preparing, if your problem is taking more than eight steps, you need to recheck your method. The GATE questions are designed in such a way that it will ideally end within eight steps. Therefore, if it is taking longer than usual then you need to recheck your method and you can assume that you are going somewhere wrong.

Do not ever leave any topic untouched. Give equal importance to all the areas of the exam. If you are planning to Join coaching classes, make sure that you join them one year in advance for best results.
