I Have A Dream To Study in IIT Through the GATE, but don’t know where to Start.




Chandigarh: GATE is a competitive test for admission to post graduation colleges.  Students  in the final year or pre-final year can apply for the exams.  The pre-final year students can take suggestion from the seniors who are in the final year. Make a timetable so you can get enough time to prepare for the exam.  The subjects that are part of the gate syllabus concentrate more on them and revise the subject thoroughly.

However, self-studying for the GATE exams is not a great idea as the people who are running the coaching centers have more knowledge and years of experience. Even if you have enough knowledge, joining a coaching centre will aid you to score higher in the exam.  The experienced trainers will help you out with the  doubts.

Everyone is weak in at least one single subject, in such case practice more on the questions of that area for improvement.

The students who self-study for the gate is able to score 50% and if the same person went  to coaching classes the same student could score around 70-80% in the gate exam.

  • Prepare a separate rough note so you can have a quick last minute revision.
  • Study as per the scheduled timetable as there is a lot of portion to be covered.
  • Be focused on your goal to get good rank in gate and study in IIT.
  • Cover all the important concepts of the subjects.
